How to Apply VisioCrystal

  • Spray onto the surface or a clean cloth: Apply a small amount of VisioCrystal directly onto your visor, lens or glasses, or onto a clean microfibre cloth. A little goes a long way, you don't need to saturate the surface.
  • Wipe clean in circular motions: Using gentle circular motions, wipe the surface to lift and remove grease, oils, fingerprints and road film. Use a fresh, clean section of cloth if you're cleaning a large surface area.
  • Allow to dry fully before treating: Allow the surface to dry completely before applying VisioDry anti-rain spray or any other treatment. Applying to a damp surface reduces how well the treatment bonds. At room temperature, drying takes around 30–60 seconds.

Tip: Use VisioCrystal between VisioDry applications to clean the surface without stripping the existing treatment. Avoid abrasive cloths or chemical-based cleaners, these degrade any water-repellent coating already applied.

What Happens If You Skip the Clean

Without VisioCrystal Grease and road film block the anti-rain coating from bonding to the surface. The result is patchy coverage, reduced water beading and a treatment that wears off quickly. The most common reason anti-rain sprays get blamed for not working.

Can I use any lens cleaner, or does it need to be VisioCrystal?

Many household glass cleaners and screen wipes contain chemicals that leave their own residue or strip existing coatings, which can interfere with how well anti-rain treatments bond afterwards.

VisioCrystal is streak-free and leaves no residue of its own, making it the safest prep step before any water-repellent treatment. If you use a different cleaner, ensure it's alcohol-free and residue-free before applying VisioDry.

Will VisioCrystal remove an existing VisioDry coating?

VisioCrystal is gentle enough to clean between VisioDry applications without fully stripping the existing coating, particularly when used with a soft microfibre cloth and light pressure. Vigorous scrubbing or harsh chemical cleaners will degrade any water-repellent coating over time, but routine cleaning with VisioCrystal is fine. When you notice the water-beading effect starting to reduce, usually after several rides or a thorough clean, that's the right time to reapply VisioDry.
