Description

The same patented superhydrophobic formula as the 35ml and 75ml aerosols, in a compact 15ml pump spray built for riders who want rain protection always within reach.

At half the size of a standard lip balm, the 15ml fits in a jacket pocket, tank bag, rucksack or glove box without taking up space or adding weight. No aerosol propellant means it's easy to carry as hand luggage if you're travelling with your bike gear. Spray, wait 30 seconds, ride, the same 30-second application as the full-size cans, wherever you are.

Best for commuters and touring riders. The 15ml delivers around 18 applications on a standard motorcycle visor, enough for several weeks of commuting or a touring trip. It's the right size if you want a can to keep on you rather than in the garage, or as a backup to your main supply at home.

Works on all optic surfaces. Compatible with motorcycle and cycling helmet visors, prescription glasses, cycling glasses, ski goggles, swimming goggles and camera lenses. Safe for all polycarbonate and standard plastic lens materials.

Best results, clean the surface first. Always clean your visor or lens with VisioCrystal surface cleaner before applying. Grease, fingerprints and road film prevent the coating from bonding properly, and are the most common reason anti-rain sprays underperform.

Available for delivery across the UK, including England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

How to Apply Visiodry

  1. Clean the surface first: Remove all grease, oils, fingerprints and road film using VisioCrystal surface cleaner and a clean microfibre cloth. This is the most important step, VisioDry bonds to a clean surface. Applying to a greasy or dirty surface is the most common reason it underperforms. Allow to dry completely before moving to Step 2.
  2. Spray from 10cm: do not wipe Shake the can and spray VisioDry evenly across the outside surface from approximately 10cm away. Apply a generous, even coat. Do not wipe, buff or touch the surface after spraying.
  3. Wait 30 seconds: do not wipe Allow the formula to bond to the surface undisturbed for 30 seconds. Wiping at this stage removes the product before it has set. No buffing required. The coating is complete once dry, water will bead and roll away immediately.

Tip: Reapply before wet-weather rides for best results. Avoid applying to hot surfaces or in direct sunlight.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does VisioDry anti-rain spray work?

VisioDry uses patented superhydrophobic technology to create an invisible water-repellent coating on your visor, glasses or goggles. Once applied, water can't spread across the surface, it beads up and rolls away on its own, without needing airflow or speed.

This makes it effective at any pace, including when you're completely stationary in traffic. Standard hydrophobic treatments rely on movement to clear water; VisioDry doesn't.

How do I apply VisioDry correctly?

Always start with a clean, dry surface, use VisioCrystal surface cleaner to remove any grease, oils or road film first. This is the step most people skip, and the main reason anti-rain sprays underperform.

Once clean, spray VisioDry from approximately 10cm away and apply an even coat. Then wait 30 seconds. Do not wipe the surface after spraying, wiping removes the product before it has bonded. No buffing required.

Why shouldn't I wipe after spraying?

The 30-second wait is when the superhydrophobic formula bonds to the surface and forms the water-repellent coating. Wiping during this window removes the product before it has set, meaning you'd need to start again.

Unlike products that require buffing, VisioDry needs no physical action after application: spray, wait, done.

Does VisioDry work when stationary, at traffic lights or low speed?

Yes, and this is VisioDry's key advantage over standard rain repellents. Most hydrophobic treatments rely on airflow to push water off the surface, which means they stop working when you slow down or stop.

VisioDry's superhydrophobic formula causes water to bead and roll away by itself, making it particularly effective for UK city riding and commuting where you're regularly stationary in wet conditions.

Does VisioDry also stop fogging?

VisioDry is designed for the outside of your visor or lens and is very effective at repelling rain, spray and road mist. Fogging, however, happens on the inside, caused by warm breath meeting a cooler surface, and VisioDry can't reach that.

For fogging you need VisioFog anti-fog microfibre wipe, which treats the inside surface and prevents condensation from forming. Many riders use both together. All three products are available in the VisioDry Essentials Kit.
