How to Use VisioFog
How to Use VisioFog
- Clean the inside surface first If the inside of your visor or lens has any visible smearing, grease or residue, clean it with a dry microfibre cloth before applying VisioFog. The treatment bonds better to a clean surface.
- Open the wipe and apply in circular motions: Open the VisioFog packet and apply to the inside surface of your visor or lens using gentle circular motions. Cover the full surface evenly. One wipe provides multiple applications, fold to a fresh section for each use.
- Allow to dry and reseal the packet: Allow the treated surface to dry for 30–60 seconds before closing your visor. Reseal the VisioFog packet after use to prevent it drying out between applications. Apply before your ride for best results.
Tip: Pair with VisioDry anti-rain spray on the outside for complete visibility protection in any weather.
Description
Description
Anti-rain spray keeps the outside of your visor clear. VisioFog keeps the inside clear, and most riders don't realise they need both until they're fogged up at 70mph.
Fogging happens when warm, moist air from your breath meets the cooler inner surface of your visor or lens and condenses. Standard cleaning cloths remove dirt but do nothing to prevent this. VisioFog's treated microfibre wipe applies an invisible anti-fog coating to the inside surface that stops condensation forming, keeping your vision clear for hours, whatever the conditions.
What makes it different from wiping with a cloth
A regular cloth cleans the surface. VisioFog treats it. The microfibre is pre-loaded with an anti-fog formula that bonds to the lens surface and prevents moisture from condensing into the droplets that cause fogging. The effect lasts for hours and across multiple rides before reapplication is needed.
Works on all optic surfaces
Compatible with all polycarbonate motorcycle and cycling helmet visors, prescription glasses, cycling glasses, ski goggles, swimming goggles and camera lenses. Safe for coated and tinted lenses, test on a small area first if you have specialist anti-reflective coatings.
Multiple applications per pack
Each wipe provides multiple applications, reseal after use to keep the wipe from drying out. For best results, apply before your ride rather than mid-journey.
Use with VisioDry for complete protection
VisioFog handles the inside. VisioDry anti-rain spray handles the outside. Used together, and with VisioCrystal to clean the surface first, they cover every visibility condition you're likely to face on a wet UK ride. All three are available together in the VisioDry Essentials Kit.
Available for delivery across the UK, including England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between VisioFog and just wiping my visor with a cloth?
A regular cloth, even a microfibre one, cleans the surface. VisioFog treats it. The wipe is pre-loaded with an anti-fog formula that bonds to the lens surface and prevents moisture from condensing into the fine droplets that cause fogging.
Cleaning your visor removes dirt and smears, but does nothing to stop fogging returning the moment you breathe near it. VisioFog changes the surface behaviour so moisture can't build up in the same way, the effect lasts for hours after application.
How many applications do I get per wipe?
Each VisioFog wipe provides multiple applications. The exact number depends on how much of the wipe surface you use per application and how carefully you reseal the packet between uses.
To maximise applications, fold the wipe to a fresh section each time and always reseal the packet immediately after use to prevent the wipe from drying out. A single wipe used carefully will typically cover several weeks of regular riding.
Does VisioFog work on prescription glasses and ski goggles as well as visors?
Yes. VisioFog is compatible with all standard polycarbonate and plastic optic surfaces, motorcycle and cycling helmet visors, prescription glasses, cycling glasses, ski goggles, swimming goggles and camera lenses. It's particularly effective for glasses wearers who ride or cycle in cold or humid conditions where fogging is a persistent problem.
If you have prescription glasses with specialist anti-reflective or hydrophobic coatings, test on a small area first as these coatings vary by manufacturer.
Do I need VisioFog if I already have VisioDry anti-rain spray?
Yes, they solve different problems. VisioDry goes on the outside of your visor and repels rain and spray. VisioFog goes on the inside and prevents fogging from your breath and body heat. Anti-rain spray cannot stop fogging because fogging happens on the interior surface, which never gets wet.
If you ride in cold, humid or stop-start conditions and notice your visor misting up from the inside, even when the outside is clear, that's exactly the problem VisioFog addresses. The two products are designed to be used together for complete visibility protection.
