Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between VisioDry, VisioCrystal and VisioFog?

Each product solves a different visibility problem. VisioCrystal is a surface cleaner that removes grease, road film and oils from visors, glasses and goggles, it's the prep step that makes everything else work properly.

VisioDry is a superhydrophobic anti-rain spray that repels water from the outside of your visor or lens at any speed, including when stationary. VisioFog is an anti-fog microfibre wipe that treats the inside surface to prevent condensation and fogging for hours. Used individually each works well, used together as a system, they cover every visibility condition you're likely to face on a wet UK ride.

Do I need all three products, or can I just buy the anti-rain spray?

You can use VisioDry on its own and it will work, but results are significantly better when you clean the surface with VisioCrystal first. Grease and road film prevent the anti-rain coating from bonding properly, which is the most common reason it underperforms. VisioFog is only necessary if you also deal with fogging on the inside of your visor or lens, which most UK riders do in cold or humid conditions. If you want everything in one order, the VisioDry Essentials Kit includes all three products together.

Which products work on glasses as well as visors?

All of them. VisioCrystal, VisioDry and VisioFog are all compatible with prescription glasses, cycling glasses, ski goggles, swimming goggles and all standard polycarbonate visor materials, not just motorcycle helmet visors. If you have prescription lenses with specialist coatings applied by an optician, test on a small area first as these coatings vary by manufacturer.

What order should I use the products in?

Always in this order: VisioCrystal first, then VisioDry, then VisioFog.

Clean the outside surface with VisioCrystal and allow to dry fully. Then spray VisioDry on the outside, do not wipe after applying, wait 30 seconds. Finally apply the VisioFog wipe to the inside of your visor or lens. The order matters, applying VisioDry to an uncleaned surface reduces how well it bonds, and VisioFog should always be the last step as it goes on the interior surface.
